About the Agricultural Gateway to India

The Agricultural Gateway to India is a website designed to satisfy the information needs for agriculture in India. Our target users include scientists, researchers, extension personnel, students, farmers, policy-makers, media, consumer groups, and agribusiness professionals. View press coverage.

This site is managed by Dr N. Sandhya Shenoy,  Senior Scientist, National Academy of Agricultural Research Management (NAARM) in Hyderabad, India, in collaboration with The AIM Lab. Her three month visit to AIM Lab was funded by ICAR - The Indian Council of Agricultural Research.

A related project is a proposal for web-based information delivery at 40 Agricultural Technology Information Centers in India. Sample site is here. Also, see the Krishi Vigyan Kendra  (KVK) Listings

AIM Lab is in the College of Agricultural, Consumer and Environmental Sciences (ACES) at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Illinois, USA.

Visit another Indian site hosted on the UIUC campus: Indusscitech.
