Virtual Classroom Interface AIM Lab's VCI Page

The Virtual Classroom Interface VCI is a web-based instructional environment created by Mary Connors and Aaron Buckley of the AIM Lab. After its development, it was funded for campus-wide deployment by the Educational Technologies Board.  Campus-wide deployment was carried out by the Web Support Initiative, a collaboration of CCSO, OIR and ACES. The original goal for VCI in 1996 was 100 classes, a goal which was met within months and then surpassed when VCI reached its peak of over 400 class accounts in 1998.
