Farmers,
farmer market managers, food assistance programs (food pantries, soup kitchens,
adult feeding programs, etc.) local, state and federal public/private food and
nutrition program staff, educators, members of the faith community, business
leaders, local, state and federal elected officials, concerned citizens.
Reasons
to attend:
- Increase awareness of importance
of locally grown produce and other products for healthy communities;
- Foster collaboration among food
summit partners;
- Support Illinois farmers in
addressing hunger and improving nutrition;
- Identify concerns about the
status of food security in Illinois;

in Illinois and elsewhere.
